Shop Assistant - Part time

 

Five Valley Cycles is looking for a part time Shop Assistant to work on Saturdays 10 - 5.30pm, initially for a fixed term with potential for something more permanent. Duties will include:

 

• Assisting customers with their needs and requirements

• Taking in bikes that need repairs/servicing and guiding customers expectations

• Checking inventory of parts and accessories and noting down any shortages 

• Advising customers on products

• Guiding customers on how to use the hire Ebikes, ensuring the bikes are charged up and ready to ride

 

We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with customers, who has an interest in and is knowledgeable about cycling/bikes. Someone with experience in social media management and content creation would be a plus but not essential. Someone who is happy working on their own if required to do so.

 

Five Valley Cycles is a small independent bike shop based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Opening in 2020, the shop is in its 5th year of existence. We provide bikes for sale, repair and servicing of bikes, electric bike hire and sales of parts and accessories.
